I've been reading lots of blogs lately, and have been thinking about what a fabulous way it is to document things - thoughts, day-to-day revelations, daily obsessions (which, in my case, do change daily).
If I started my own "blog" (which looks so bizarre even as I write it). What would I write about? What am I passionate about? What would be my "topic"? Well, everything. I've decided to use this blog as a diary of my days. Sometimes I get really excited about a fun nail polish color I discovered during my last mani/pedi, or about booking a fun vacation, or about a date night with my husband, or even about finally learning how to make cookies that aren't raw on the inside and charred around the outside. It'll all be here. Even if no one else reads it, it will be here. Something I can look back on a couple years from now to remember.
At the end of a week that has been charging full-speed ahead, as I run behind it struggling to catch up, thinking about making the time to update regularly makes me nervous. But, as I get older and having alone-time to recharge is becoming more a necessity in my life, I feel like this may be a great way to spend that time. We'll see how it goes. :)
And to type all of this into a handy little online blog-maker? So much more efficient than my last diary - a Lisa Frank notebook that donned golden retrievers. :)
And we're off...
